Dear Golden Friends,

Our family wishes to thank each of you at the NGRR who take the time out of you busy lives to provide a loving home for the unlucky goldens who have come upon unfortunate circumstances. Your hard work and caring have directly impacted our family in a way which is not easily expressed.

Hans and Heidi came to us in February, 2003 as a beautiful but overweight brother and sister pair. While we were not necessarily looking for a pair of 5 year old dogs and had planned on getting a single dog for sure, these two dogs fell in our laps, literally.

Since our first meeting, the two friendly, happy and now spoiled dogs have been inseparable from our two young daughters. We are never quite sure who enjoys being with who the most, the kids or the dogs. Both the dogs quickly adopted the entire family and have come to run the household in a way that only kids or dogs can. Not only have the dogs become completely integrated into the family but they have begun to get into doggie shape due to a large yard to play in, numerous walks and hours of tossing the tennis ball not to mention the family wrestling matches.

Thanks again to all of you at NGRR who have made this union possible and may all the adoptive parents be as fortunate as this lucky family.
