Chester Bear

Amy tells us about her favorite subject . . .

We wanted to update you on Chester's progress. We adopted him two weeks ago from a loving family in Tracy (Hi Carolyn) who took very good care of him, nursing him back to health from some bad skin problems and giving him a lot of love and attention.

We have enjoyed getting to know Chester,and have been spending a lot of time at the park and taking long walks around the neighborhood. He was tentative at first, but when he began jumping head first into mud puddles at the local park we knew
he was starting to feel at home.(This was a dog who was described as hating water!!!!)

We took him to the vet who diagnosed an ear infection and worms, and put him on meds right away. He is definitely recovering, and looks like he is gaining some needed weight. Also, much thanks to Rolf and Kade of Norcal GRR for their help and support in adopting this great dog. We love him.
