| NORCAL Golden Retriever Rescue normally has between 30 and 50 dogs available for adoption on any given week and close to 400 Golden Retrievers are placed in adoptive homes each year through NGRR. These dogs are relinquished by owners who cannot take care of them anymore or are rescued by NORCAL agents from local animal shelters, SPCA chapters and Humane Societies. We do not always know the complete history of these dogs, but we try to get them checked by a veterinarian and bring their vaccinations up to date before they are adopted. | If you are interested in one of these dogs, please fill out our Online Adoption Form. The area coordinator for your county will contact you. If you are interested in adopting one of our Goldens or getting information about any of these dogs, you must contact your Area Coordinator - just point your browser to How to reach your local NORCAL Agent for the contact information. All prospective owners must complete the necessary adoption paperwork and be pre-screened by a NORCAL representative before a dog will be placed in their home. |
| The available dogs described on this web site are typical of the Golden Retrievers we have at any given time. This list is not necessarily complete nor current, and some of these dogs may have already been adopted. Your local Area Coordinator has access to the entire dog list (updated weekly) and will have more current information. | NORCAL Golden Retriever Rescue is always in need of foster homes. If you are interested in fostering, you may contact your local county agent by pointing your browser to How to reach your local NORCAL Agent |
