| Sam (as he is now named) was the victim of an abusive and neglectful home. He was left outside all the time, fed infrequently, and abused by his owner. A Good Samaritan encouraged the owner to relinquish the dog; finally
the owner decided to do so. The Good Samaritan had Sam vetted, neutered,
and had hot spots and a cracked tooth treated. |
 Contact with NORCAL Golden Retriever Rescue was made, and Sam was placed
in a new home with the Hastings family. The Hastings' sent these
photos which show Sam in his new home, with his older "brother" Max. |
